Upon arrival at the Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be received warmly by our representative. You will then be escorted to your vehicle to begin your holiday in Sri Lanka. After breakfast proceed to visit Kandy temple. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) was originally built by the Kandyan Kings in 1595, to house and honor the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. Then transfer to Nuwara Eliya. En route visit Royal Botanical Gardens - Peradeniya. There are more than 5,000 species of trees, plants and creepers. Later en route visit Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple. According to the legend, this is where Hanuman searched for Sita in the jungles above and behind the temple. Then visit Seetha Amman Temple. The stream that runs from the hill, catered to the needs of Sitadevi during her stay at Ashok Vatika. Later explore the city, visit the highland city that was the premium holiday resort town of the British in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Enjoy walking through the streets with their pretty little cottages, quaint villas and beautiful mansions. Check in to the hotel & relax. Dinner & overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
After breakfast visit Sita Amman temple & proceed to Bentota. Bentota is the city of the Golden Beaches. You will be able to relax and feel the spirit of the sea and the warmth of the soft sand. Overnight stay in Bentota.
This morning breakfast at the hotel. Another special place in bentota is the Madu River. Enjoy the madu river boat safari (on your own). Madu River is a paradise of nature. A beautiful river mixed with sea water. Both banks of the river are covered with mangroves and Species of various plants. You can see beautiful small islands speeded over the area. Then visit the Sea Turtle Conservation Project. One of the most important activities of the project is its hatchery. Within the sanctuary of the project, collected and rescued eggs can hatch safely away from predators before being released into the sea at night-time. You can also enjoy the water sports activities such as Jet skiing, Banana boat ride, & tube riding at an additional cost. Dinner & overnight stay in Bentota.
This morning check out from the hotel & transfer to Colombo. Colombo is the largest city and commercial capital of Sri Lanka. While on your city tour in Colombo you may visit famous places including Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, National Museum, Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu, Islam and Christian places of worship. For shopping, you may visit Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, Noritake, etc. Dinner & overnight stay in Colombo.
After breakfast it’s time to check out. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight or back home.
