An Alleppey trip offers a unique experience of cruising the scenic backwaters on houseboats and exploring the serene landscapes of Kerala, with attractions like the Alappuzha Lighthouse, Krishnapuram Palace, and Marari Beach also popular. The ideal time to visit is during the winter months, from October to February, for pleasant weather, and a typical trip requires about two nights to fully experience the backwaters and local culture.

Itinerary

Upon arrival at Kochi Airport/ Railway Station, you will be transferred to your houseboat in Alleppey. Check in at your cosy traditional houseboat for an overnight stay. As the day unfolds, glide through the waters and take in the scenic views of nearby villages, lush paddy fields, and swaying coconut groves. You can opt for a short five-minute ride before indulging in a romantic candlelight dinner on the houseboat.

In the morning, deboard the houseboat, and get driven to Kochi. Upon arrival, embark on a city tour with a visit to the Dutch Palace, which highlights the city's colonial history, and explore the Jewish Synagogue, known for its beautiful blue porcelain tiles. Stop by the original burial site of Vasco da Gama, then take a leisurely stroll along Marine Drive to see the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets. After the tour, get transferred to the Kochi Airport/ Railway Station for your onward journey.

Confirmation Policy
  • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking.
  • In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
  • Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.
Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

All applicable refunds will be done in the traveler's Refund by COIT.

Cancellation Policy
  • If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In the event of unforeseen weather conditions, union issues, government restrictions, or any other circumstances beyond human control, certain trips or activities may be canceled. In such cases, alternate feasible options will be provided. However, a cash refund will not be available.
