Trip Highlights
Upon your arrival at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station, our driver will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer. Begin your journey towards Sasan Gir, located approximately 380 kilometers away (around 8 hours by road). Sasan Gir is the only natural habitat of the majestic Asiatic lions in the world. After reaching Gir, check in at your hotel and unwind. In the afternoon, proceed to the Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya for a guided experience through a fenced safari area that offers sightings of lions and other wildlife. Later, visit the Crocodile Breeding Farm and the Gir Information Centre, where you can watch a short educational film about the park and its conservation efforts. Today is dedicated to exploring the Gir National Park, a rich ecosystem of dry deciduous forests, acacia scrub, and grasslands, fed by rivers and reservoirs. Start early in the morning with a jeep safari accompanied by expert naturalists and forest guides, offering you the chance to spot the elusive Asiatic lion and other wildlife such as leopards, hyenas, jackals, deer, and diverse bird species. After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to the tranquil beach town of Diu, located on the southern tip of the Saurashtra Peninsula. The drive to Diu takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy a day at leisure. You can relax on the serene shores of Nagoa Beach, take a walk along the promenade, or explore local cafes. After a relaxed breakfast, spend your morning enjoying a variety of water sports available at Nagoa Beach, such as banana boat rides, jet skiing, parasailing, and speed boating (on direct payment basis). Later, embark on a heritage tour of Diu, starting with a visit to the beautifully preserved St. Paul’s Church, followed by a walk through the Diu Museum, which houses artifacts and religious relics from Portuguese rule. End your day with a visit to the Diu Fort, a 16th-century Portuguese fort with panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. Return to your hotel for a restful evening. Overnight stay at the hotel in Diu.
After breakfast and check-out, begin your return journey to Ahmedabad, covering approximately 380 kilometers (around 8 hours by road). Upon arrival in Ahmedabad, our driver will assist you with your drop-off at the Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
