Itinerary

Upon arrival at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly received by our driver who will assist with your comfortable transfer to the Little Rann of Kutch. This unique ecosystem is one of the few places on earth where the endangered Indian Wild Ass roams free. Upon reaching, check in at your resort and enjoy a short rest before embarking on an exhilarating open jeep safari across the stark salt plains and semi-arid grasslands. The safari offers an excellent opportunity to spot desert wildlife such as the Wild Ass, Desert Fox, Blue Bull, Blackbuck, Indian Wolf, and a diverse variety of migratory and resident birds. You will also visit the local Rabari and Banjara tribal settlements, where age-old traditions, crafts, and ways of life remain preserved. This immersive experience in the Rann’s wilderness and tribal culture sets a fascinating tone for your journey ahead. Overnight stay at Little Rann of Kutch.

After a leisurely breakfast, check out and begin your drive to Bhuj, the cultural capital of the Kutch region. On arrival, explore the town’s rich royal and architectural heritage. Visit the Aina Mahal, a grand 18th-century palace known for its Indo-European architecture and decorative mirrors. Nearby, the Prag Mahal impresses with its Italian Gothic style and majestic clock tower. Continue to the Bhartiya Sanskriti Darshan Exhibition, a well-curated museum that showcases Kutch’s handicrafts, textiles, and folk art. The afternoon is yours to relax or explore the village surroundings. As the evening sets in, enjoy a traditional Kutchi dinner followed by a lively folk music and dance performance around a bonfire, if weather permits. The setting—under the vast desert sky with a spread of stars—is an unforgettable cultural experience. You'll also have opportunities to interact with local artisans and villagers, gaining a deeper appreciation of their way of life, art, and hospitality. Marudhu Subhash

Good

We recently booked a 7-day/6-night tour package with Colors of India for the Delhi–Rishikesh–Manali trip, and it turned out to be an amazing experience! A big shoutout to Mr. Rohit shokta, who meticulously organized the trip and ensured everything went smoothly. One incident that stood out was when I lost my bag during the trip. Mr. Rohit went above and beyond to help me recover it from the place it was left behind. His genuine care and prompt action were truly commendable. The trip itself was fantastic! I traveled with my parents to show them snow-capped peaks for the very first time, and they had an absolute blast. They explored and enjoyed every moment of the journey. We covered around 2500 kilometers by car, but thanks to our incredibly kind and professional driver, we never felt tired. His driving skills and hospitality added to the comfort and joy of our journey. Thank you, Colors of India, for making this trip so memorable, especially during the peak season of late December and New Year. The package was not only affordable but also exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended! 🌟
