Upon your arrival at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly greeted by our representative, who will assist you with your transfer to Dharamshala. The scenic drive, approximately 250 kilometers (6–7 hours), unfolds through picturesque valleys, meandering hill roads, and charming mountain villages. As you journey towards the foothills of the mighty Dhauladhar range, enjoy the changing landscapes—from the vibrant plains of Punjab to the cool, pine-scented air of Himachal. Upon reaching Dharamshala, check in at your hotel and relax after your drive. The rest of the evening is free for you to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, perhaps taking a leisurely stroll nearby or soaking in the mountain serenity from your balcony. After a wholesome breakfast, begin your day exploring the cultural, spiritual, and natural beauty of Dharamshala and McLeodganj—affectionately known as “Little Lhasa.” Start with a visit to the Namgyal Monastery, the seat of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, where the tranquil ambiance, prayer flags, and the sound of Buddhist chants offer a deeply calming experience. Continue to the Bhagsunag Temple and nearby Bhagsunag Waterfall, a serene spot ideal for relaxation and photography. Visit the Tibetan Monastery and the HPCA Cricket Stadium, one of the world’s most scenic sports venues, set against a stunning Himalayan backdrop. Pay your respects at the War Memorial, built in honor of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation. After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Dalhousie, located about 120 kilometers away (approximately 3–4 hours). En route, enjoy panoramic views of terraced fields, cedar forests, and distant snow-clad peaks. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax for a while before heading out to explore Dalhousie’s old-world charm and colonial architecture. Visit prominent sites such as St. Andrew’s Church, St. Francis Church, St. John’s Church, and Subhash Baoli, each exuding an aura of peace and history. Later, stroll along Dalhousie Mall Road, where you can shop for local handicrafts, woolens, and souvenirs while taking in the pleasant mountain breeze and breathtaking vistas. After breakfast, set out on a delightful excursion to Khajjiar, located about 22 kilometers (45 minutes) from Dalhousie. Known as the “Mini Switzerland of India,” Khajjiar captivates visitors with its rolling meadows, dense pine forests, and the picturesque Khajjiar Lake that mirrors the surrounding mountains. Visit the centuries-old Khajji Nag Temple, dedicated to the serpent deity, and stroll along the lake’s lush green fringes. You can also indulge in adventure activities like paragliding, horse riding, and zorbing (on direct payment basis). Later, explore the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary, home to rich flora and fauna, including the beautiful Monal Pheasant, Himachal’s state bird. After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to Chandigarh, covering a distance of approximately 320 kilometers (7–8 hours). Relish the scenic drive through the lower Himalayas, passing verdant hills and charming hamlets that showcase the beauty of Himachal’s countryside. Upon reaching Chandigarh, our driver will drop you at the Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
