Ladakh (meaning "land of high mountain passes") is a mountainous region in North India. Leh, the main city is situated at 3500m above sea level nestled in the great Himalayan, Karakoram, Zanskar and Ladakh ranges. Ladakh is known for remote mountain beauty, studded with monasteries and stupas.

Itinerary

On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, You will be taken to viist Visit Dal Lake and Mughal Gardens(Nishat ,Shalimar & Cheshmashshi). Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel in SRINAGAR.

After breakfast proceed towards Kargil enroute Sonmarg,Zojilla Pass and Kargil war memorial at Drass. After a breath taking journey from Srinagar you come across Sindh meanders that are abounded with trout & Mahseer. Onwards the valley opens up to a meadow. Ponies can be hired for a trip up to Thajiwas glacier - a major attraction during the summer months. Sonmarg's importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. Kargil War Memorial, is a glorious museum constructed by the Indian Army. It is worth a visit for every citizen. You can see the memorabilia, eminent defense personalities with biographies, images and weapons used during the Kargil and other key strategic battles fought in Ladakh Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel in hotel at Kargil.

Enroute Fotula top [13478 ft] and Namik La [12139 ft],visit Moonland , Lamayuru Monastery, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Confluence of Zanskar and Indus river. Just before reaching Leh[11562 ft] visit Ladakh Hall of fame. Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight

After breakfast, half day rest then in afternoon visit Shanti stupa,leh Palace & Leh Market

Early morning proceed to Nubra Valley via the World Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass. Arrive Nubra and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can enjoy the camel ride (On Own). Later if time permits visit Hunder and Diskit monasteries and check in at Deluxe Camp. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the camp

Early morning drive Turtuk[9850 ft] this village is about 83 km from Hunder (Nubra valley) and can take about 3 hours to reach here, the total population of Turtuk is just 4000 and follow Islam .About 40 years back this village was under Pakistan and speak Baltistan language, explore this beautiful village and explore the life here,we will go for a walk around the village and also meet the people, come back to Hunder village.Dinner and Overnight stay at camp @ Hunder(Nubra).

Today, we get up early morning visit to Diskit monastery and have wonderful view of Nubra valley. Start your drive towards Pangong Lake[13862 ft]. Enjoy the turquoise color panoramic lake and the magnificent mountains and landscapes which will leave you awestruck . Spent your afternoon enjoy the beauty of Pangong lake and at night its the best spot for star gazing. Overnight stay at Camp near the Lake.

After breakfast drive back to Leh taking the same route. On the way back visit Shey Palace,Thiksey Monastery and Sindhu Ghaat and 3 idiots point(Ranchu school). Arrive Leh and relax at the hotel or free for individual activities.

After your breakfast, we will assist you with transfers to airport to fly back to your home with memories of a lifetime trip.

Next, you will continue your sightseeing tour towards the calming Shanti stupa, an iconic Buddhist white domed stupa, from where you can enjoy 360 views of the Leh city. Lastly, visit the lively Leh Market, a bustling hub for local craft and eateries, where you can shop for souvenirs to take back home as well as enjoy local delicacies.

Along the way, savor the famous steaming maggi and chai of Rinchen Cafe, while enjoying the views of the Ladakhi terrain and majestic Himalayan peaks. Next, make a stop at the famous Diskit Monastery, where you will find the grand statue of Maitreya Buddha and experience spiritual peace.
