Your sacred journey begins with a drive from Ahmedabad towards Dwarka, one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in India. En route, stop at Narara Marine National Park, where you can observe several species of migratory birds and marine life in their natural setting. Continue to Jamnagar and visit the renowned Bala Hanuman Temple, known for the continuous chanting of the Ram Dhun since 1964 — an accomplishment recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. Start your day early with Mangla Aarti at the Dwarkadhish Temple, a significant part of the Char Dham pilgrimage. After breakfast, take a ferry ride to Bet Dwarka, believed to be the original residence of Lord Krishna during his reign. Continue your exploration with a visit to Nageshwar Jyotirling, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India and an important Shaivite site. Later, visit Gopi Talav, associated with the reunion of Lord Krishna and the Gopis, and then head to the Rukmini Devi Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna’s consort. After breakfast, check out and drive towards Somnath. En route, stop at Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit Kirti Mandir, Gandhi’s ancestral home turned museum, and the nearby Sudama Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna’s childhood friend. Continue your journey and reach Somnath by late afternoon.
