En route, we visit the world’s tallest statue – the Statue of Unity, an engineering marvel dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Explore the grand statue complex, the valley of flowers, and the viewing gallery that offers panoramic views of the Narmada River and Sardar Sarovar Dam. After soaking in this iconic experience, continue your journey to Vadodara. On arrival, take a peaceful stroll around Sursagar Lake, a serene spot in the heart of the city. After an early breakfast and check-out, begin your long yet scenic drive to the revered city of Dwarka, one of the most significant pilgrimage destinations in India. En route, we make a stop at Jamnagar, a historical city known for its beautiful architecture and devotional sites. Visit Lakhota Lake and the adjacent Lakhota Museum, housed in a mid-lake palace showcasing artifacts from the region’s royal past. Also visit the Bala Hanuman Temple, famous for its world-record continuous chanting of “Ram Dhun” since 1964. After this spiritual and cultural detour, resume your drive to Dwarka. On arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Dwarka.
After a hearty breakfast, set out for a full day of spiritual discovery in Dwarka, one of the sacred Char Dhams and an important city in Hindu mythology. Begin your day at the majestic Dwarkadhish Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna. The temple's architecture and spiritual ambiance make it a must-visit. From there, take a ferry to Bet Dwarka, believed to be the original residence of Lord Krishna during his reign. Later, visit Nageshwar Jyotirling, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Explore Gopi Talav, the lake where the Gopis are believed to have united with Krishna, and then continue to Rukmini Devi Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna’s consort. Wrap up your sightseeing at Gomti Ghat, a revered spot where devotees take holy dips. Return to your hotel in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Dwarka.
Post breakfast and check-out, begin your journey to Somnath, a revered Jyotirlinga shrine situated on the western coast of Gujarat. En route, stop at Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit the Kirti Mandir, the ancestral home turned museum of the Mahatma, and also explore the Sudama Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna’s childhood friend. Continue to Somnath and check in at your hotel. Later in the evening, visit the awe-inspiring Somnath Temple, known as “The Eternal Shrine” due to its resilience and reconstruction through history. Experience the serene Aarti ceremony and if time permits, enjoy the Light & Sound Show that narrates the temple’s history. Also visit Bhalka Tirth, where Lord Krishna is believed to have left his earthly form, and the sacred Triveni Ghat and Gita Mandir. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, embark on a short and scenic drive to the coastal union territory of Diu, known for its Portuguese heritage and beautiful beaches. On arrival, explore the iconic Diu Fort, which offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. Continue to St. Paul’s Church, one of the most impressive examples of Baroque architecture in India. Next, venture into the intriguing Naida Caves, a network of underground tunnels and naturally-carved rock formations. Later, relax at Nagoa Beach, where you can unwind or enjoy beach activities. Spend the evening at leisure before returning to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Diu.
After breakfast and check-out, depart for Sasan Gir, the only home of the endangered Asiatic lions. On arrival, explore the Gir Interpretation Zone or Devaliya Safari Park, which offers a glimpse of the region’s rich biodiversity. You may also opt for a thrilling Jeep Safari (at your own cost) inside Gir National Park for a chance to spot lions, leopards, deer, and exotic birds in their natural habitat. Later, continue to Junagadh, a city steeped in history and culture. Check in at your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening. Overnight stay in Junagadh.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your journey back to Ahmedabad (approx. 320 km / 7–8 hours). Depending on your departure schedule, you will be dropped off at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
