On arrival at Delhi Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our driver and transferred to your hotel. Delhi, India’s capital, is a blend of Mughal-era relics, colonial architecture, and modern-day vibrancy. After check-in, the rest of the day is free to relax or explore the city on your own. After breakfast, set out on a guided full-day sightseeing of Delhi, covering both Old and New Delhi highlights. Visit the grand Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, before driving past the formidable Red Fort. Pay homage at Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Explore Humayun’s Tomb, an architectural predecessor to the Taj Mahal. Continue to the Lotus Temple (Bahá’í Temple), known for its lotus-inspired design, and then to Qutub Minar, a towering minaret and UNESCO World Heritage Site. After breakfast, check out and drive across the desert landscapes to reach Jodhpur, popularly called the Blue City for its azure-painted houses. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.
Start the morning with a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. Visit the magnificent Umaid Bhawan Palace, an opulent royal residence turned museum. Continue to the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, perched on a rocky hill and featuring splendid palaces and museums. Stop at Jaswant Thada, a white marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. In the afternoon, depart for Mount Abu, Rajasthan’s only hill station.
