Upon arrival at Jodhpur Railway Station or Airport, our driver will greet you and assist with your transfer to Jaisalmer, approximately 285 kilometers away (5-hour drive). En-route, make a stop at the Jaisalmer War Museum, dedicated to the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian Army, showcasing its rich history. On arrival in Jaisalmer, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaisalmer.
After breakfast, explore Jaisalmer, known as the “Golden City.” Begin with the majestic Jaisalmer Fort, made of golden sandstone, and also called Sonar Kella. Visit the stunning Patwon Ki Haveli, Nathmal Ki Haveli, and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, each showcasing exquisite Rajasthani architecture and intricate carvings. Then, visit Gadisar Lake, a man-made reservoir surrounded by temples and ghats. In the evening, enjoy a memorable camel ride at Sam Sand Dunes, and witness the sunset over the Thar Desert. After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of Jodhpur, beginning with the grand Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum and the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, perched atop a hill. Inside the fort, visit the Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal, which are known for their exquisite interiors. Next, visit the Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Continue your day with visits to Kaylana Lake and Mandore Garden, two of Jodhpur’s most serene and picturesque spots. The evening is free for leisure or shopping.
